Is Your Home Lifting You Up or Holding you Back?

A pillar is defined as a tall vertical structure of stone, wood, or metal, used as a support for a building, or as an ornament or monument. At this moment, does your home lift you up or hold you back?

One of the most important things for a designer to understand is how our client’s home supports them, their lives, hobbies, interests, and time.

During the pandemic, many of us learned a new way of living life. For most of us, that meant more time at home. Life is moving in a new, unexpected direction; with that comes some confusion and uncertainty.

With this newfound time, it might be easier to understand what your life craves.

For some people, a home provides stability, safety, and structure.

Structure, symmetry, and editing down your home design can offer a sense of sanctuary.

Other home dwellers may opt for inspiration, creativity, fluidity, and fun.

After moving a few times, this family wanted their home to reflect their love of travel and the colors of the world.

Whatever it is that you’re missing in your home, my job is not to have a distinct design style of my own. You already have that. My job is to bring your style out in functional way – using my knowledge of scale and space planning to create your haven.

My hope is to provide the foundation to create a space that supports this new way of life and allows you to live in it, fully.
